The Protea Hotel Sea Point was like the other Protea Hotels.  

There was no evening dining service, so we ate at a restaurant one night and found a pizza place for the second night.

We were located in a good area where there was a lot of options on where to eat and we were able to walk to the foreshore which took us to the VA Waterfront.  It was also close to the red hop on hop off bus.
