I managed to get some sleep not sure how much Nathan got. The flight was probably half full, I noticed some people ended up taking a full row of seats to sleep on, I tried but could not get comfortable. Our seats had foot rests, leg rests and reclined a bit more than economy, the food was not too bad.
Getting through immigration and customs was done in an orderly fashion and we were done in an hour, it felt like a very long hour, being tired and hungry. |
Once through off we went, I located the Limousine bus easy as and off we went to locate a suica card to use while getting around the train system. This was not as easy, we did locate an information booth and were pointed in the right direction and advised the train would be easier. Down escalators and then around down a ramp. There it was with a nice queue, due to the size of the booth and the line up they don't allow trollies in the line so Nathan waited and waited and waited, watching the line going very slow. I watched all the boards advertising ways to get to where we needed to go and the different train lines with station changes, not a chance of getting through all that with our bags and no trolly to use, so cards purchased, back to the bus area and we booked the Limousine bus to Tokyo, with an hour to wait we decided food would be the go, both of us hangry by this time, finding something to eat was not as easy as it sounded, vending machines not looking that appetising, we eventually found Subway and had something to eat. We finally got on the bus at 1130 and was on our way 1 and a half hour bus to Tokyo in the pouring rain,
