Tonight I depart Perth, Western Australia heading to Cairo, Egypt via Dubai.
Landing in Cairo 10:25 am Friday 4:25 pm Perth time

Two hours to go..... The Qantas lounge is very quiet in comparison to the Domestic Qantas Lounge....  No FIFO's I suppose.  I had to make my own scotch.  For those that use the lounges can you imagine being able to pour your own drinks before getting on the plane at no charge?
Have said my farewell to Nathan, would have preferred for him to be coming with me,but not the case.

The flight to Dubai was not too bad, the seat next to me was empty so I managed to stretch out a bit.

Having landed in Dubai, I found my way to the Emirates Business Lounge.

The flight to Cairo started with a bus trip to the plane.  It was almost like some flights out of Perth where you end up on the tarmac and have to climb the stairs to the plane.
I will say that after the flight from Perth to Dubai the 4 hour flight to Cairo seemed like nothing.
