Today was a travel day. We made a brief stop at a point of interest from WikiCamps at a location called pink lake, it was pink but not worth stopping. We also found out that we had left Perth just in time to avoid a lock down in Perth and a mask mandate, so my mask was used for something much better, keeping some of the heat off my camera

A train driver from work “Facebook stalked me” to locate where we were. We stopped at the information/tourism shop and had a look around and may have made a couple of purchases, by then Stevie had located where I was and walked in the door with a couple of other train drivers just as we were about to leave. They offered to take us to the lookout so we happily followed. Was great to catch up. |
We fueled up and departed for Karijini, getting to Dales Gorge Campsite in the late afternoon.
We were booked in for one night at Bungarra, we were going to have to move completely out of Karijini, we however on checking in we managed to get 2 more nights at a different site, so we only had to move camp once not each night. |
