We broke camp and got on the move just before 8:30 to a reasonably un eventful morning until stopping for fuel at Warakurna and found another issue see "Broken Things"

Starlink has changed how we travel, instead of Nathan falling asleep he is now being entertained and googling

We stopped on the border when we entered the NT, YAY we made it to the Northern Territory,

I noticed the gravel road was different compared to WA at some stage, might have been my imagination.

Now in the NT the thought of not seeing a camel in the wild was crossing my mind.
About 60 km's before Uluru I spotted a single camel on the passenger side of the road, Nathan asked why are we slowing down, my response can't you see the camel?
We pulled over to discover a large herd. So Nathan was happy to have fulfilled a goal that has been on a few of our camping trips.

On to the bitumen, did that feel good to drive on.
Just out of Uluru we hit a T section, we could see the "Olgas" from there but decided not to check them out, they were huge, our friends did a quick detour, we kept on the move. |

Seeing Uluru as we took twists and turns on the road was mesmerising, this big lump in the distance which was our focal point got bigger and bigger.
We got to Ayres Rock Resort where we were camping for the night. |

We set up camp and then off to see the sunset at Uluru.
There was cloud cover and the changes of the rock were there but nothing dramatic, the timelapse however really shows how the colour changes. |

Back to camp, Nathan fixed the Anderson plug, we had dinner.
Later that night we had a motor home pull up next to us and I noticed they had their power cord out and connected, I thought we had booked an unpowered site so we had to see if it was a powered or non powered site, we plugged in and bingo, we got power, our "broken thing for the day" meant we did not charge our lithium battery, guess what it was fully charged by morning.

One issue today, we lost an Anderson plug because it was dragged on the road, quick fix at Ayers Rock Campground
