Up before 6 we had to catch a bus to take us to our next adventure.
Picked up at 630, we were off to ride camels.
We got there and given a bit of information and bags to put our stuff in, the camels were trained not to go near these bags, they are inquisitive and if we had our own bags, the camels would have had fun with them, out to the corral and they were all sitting on the ground in a row, saddled up and ready for us.
We we given our camels based on their attitude, We got "Doc", apparently the heaviest rider has to sit at the back so I got the front seat, our friends got the camel behind us, "The Rock" he was big.
Up we go, and waiting for the whole group to be mounted, then off we went, it went for about 1.5 hours and we enjoyed every moment.
The Rock was getting up close and personal with Nathan, everything he "The Rock" got too close Nathan got a good whiff of his breath, I unfortunately also got that whiff. We stopped around sunrise with Uluru behind us, our guide took pic's with our own phones and included a Camel Toe shot just for Nathan.
Back to camp we go to pack up and get on the move, about to move the Jeep and that's when we found our broken thing(s) for the day, see below.
Finally on the move, bitumen all the way to Kings Canyon.
Nice easy drive with one stop for a snack.
The campground was good, we set up and parked the Jeep under the tree and Nathan got to work on the airbags and made a few calls to the guys where we got them from, replacement airbag organised to be picked up at Katherine.
We had dinner at the restaurant and later that night while sitting at camp, our friends spotted a dingo wandering around, surprise, they were wandering the whole campground, our group spotted them multiple times.
Broken things
2 issues this morning, both to do with the air bags, the one on the right not staying up at all the other had a leak in the valve, so the trip to our next location was drive with one air bag with the compressor attached to keep topping up one air bag to get to our next location, Kings Canyon.
