We woke up to a very cold morning and thinking we were going to have to drive back to Bulman for fuel.
I stuck my head out the room and saw the guy from the room next to us carrying a Jerry can, he was also in need of unleaded, the pump was working, what a relief, no need to back track and loosing up to 2 hours of our day.

On the road again... First stop Katherine Repco, it shuts at 2 pm on Saturdays, tracking has an ETA of 12, 2 hours to spare.
We had a bit of cattle on the road and when we reached one of the communities we were welcomed by a donkey walking across the road.

Not far from the Stuart highway, We had to stop there was a paddy wagon across the road, we spoke to the Sargent he let us know we will be there for a while due to the area being classified as a crime scene, a car had hit a tree, we found out later that 2 of the 4 occupants were deceased at the scene. Nathan let him know we were trying to get to Repco before it shut because we had no tail lights on the camper and could we at create our own track out, he was not eager for us to do that and told us once we get on the road if we got pulled up by the police to have them call him so we would not get booked. So we reversed up (Nathan) and set to wait and Nathan again did some more bush mechanics on the wiring.

A few more vehicles pulled up, one of those was a "safari group" must have needed to catch a plane because they managed to talk their way into creating their own path which we were grateful to take advantage of.

We made it to Katherine in time, they have a great parking area for Campers/caravans, really close to the shopping centre but more importantly a clear pathway to Repco, it took 2 trips to get what was needed, the essential parts and then spares just in case....

We stayed at a different caravan park to when we were there last time, We got set up then went in to restock supplies and then back to the caravan park to a pile of washing.
Broken things
Me still, the midge bites I got at Arnhem land had started to itch severely, waking Nathan up and probably our nearest caravaners, I ended up in the shower at 2 in the morning
