Ellery Creek to Devils Mables

We are getting into a routine, Nathan makes coffee and I start sorting out the inside of the camper to get her ready to close up. 

​We packed up and went for a short walk to check out "The Big Hole" it was pretty and serene. 

On the road again, stopping at Standley Chasm, which had nowhere to park campers/caravans or signs to advise.  We went in and checked it out, it is not part of the NT National Parks so we had to pay $12 each to get in, it was worth it.

On the road again and on to Alice Springs for a bit of shopping, fruit and veg in particular.

We stopped here for lunch and for Nathan and I to sort out some packages that we needed to pick up from Katherine, we worked out that we would be there on Saturday and the post office was not open, the airbags had not been delivered to the post office so we were able to get them taken to a parcel locker for us to pick up from, the other package had already gotten to the post office so I could not get them to a parcel locker, alternative was for them to send the package to Nhulunbuy PO for a fee on pick up, fingers crossed it is there before Thursday, we leave on Friday.​

We planned to be out of Alice before 1pm, we didn't get out until after 230.  

​Fuelling up at Devils Marbles Hotel was our first experience of getting fuel from what looked like a shipping container.

Devil's Marbles campground was full, out 2 sites were together and it was a really big area we had  plenty of room.

Broken things

Our broken thing today was an Isolation valve this is how we get our water to the sink.  Parts picked up today at Alice Springs
