Cooinda to Merls Campground

A casual start to our day because our first stop was the Cultural Centre, which didn't open until 9 am, it was a fascinating walk through, and a gift store at the end that showcased a lot of art including a range of didgeridoos that nathan had been wanting to buy, but they were more than a bit over the budget to get, 

Off to Cahill's crossing.

Not often do you see a sign that actually states there has been a fatality, at least not in WA.  ​

 East Alligator River.  
This was our first of 2 visits to the crossing, The water was flowing both times it was deeper on our second visit.​
